Populated beach scene. Symbols with words (PCS symbols) and words only, of objects in populated beach scene. 2 copies of symbols with words and words only - one copy with black outline and one copy with colourful semantics coloured outlines. Lessons Blank beach scene: Make own scene with cut outs (can add own drawings). Discuss what you see/do at the beach. Populated beach scene: Discuss and make sentences about what you can see whichever way you like; verbally, with symbols, with words, with low-tech supports, with a communication device.
